Maker Tibby falls from heaven and gets distracted by reporter & wrestler Munchy Monk's hand comes in out of nowhere and hits Maker Tibby on the head causing him to drop out of the screen. Maker Tibby is revealed to be a book, as the pages turn rapidly, we end up seeing a recreation of the first part of Steamboat Willie, as Friday changes into "Flickering Funnies", a reference to the Spongebob Special "Truth or Square". The odd metronome arrow thing from Mr Upbeat comes in and knocks Maker Tibby away, as he bounces around the screen before finally going out of view. The blue platform from Tap Trial comes from the bottom, and Maker Tibby is carried away by it. Maker Tibby gets punched off the screen by a vase from Karate Man.Ī pair of tweezers from Rhythm Tweezers comes in, gets hold of Maker Tibby, and carries him away. such as the animations before the title screen. It’s so catchy that, even though the controls involve simply pressing buttons, you’ll find yourself tapping your feet along to the rhythm in no time.Since the game is almost identical to Super Mario Maker in many ways, it contains a lot of elements from the game.
However, the best part of this game is the music. Games like Packing Pests and the Shrimp Shuffle are popular amongst fans, but others can be hard to pick up at first. This also makes Rhythm Heaven Fever an excellent match for group settings! The lively music keeps you coming back for more, even if the minigames can get a bit frustrating at times.
Additionally, the game is incredibly addicting due to the wide variety of minigame options. The simple button mechanics on the Wii controller are straightforward to pick up on. The gameplay itself is intriguing and challenging yet approachable for new players. In fact, the same team of developers worked on both Rhythm Heaven and WarioWare, so it’s no wonder they’re so similar! Addicting and Charming Gameplay Reminiscent of other popular games like WarioWare: Smooth Moves for the Wii, these catchy minigames are a delight to play with friends or by yourself.
The controls are simple – just press the A and B buttons to stay in tune with the rhythm and attempt to win charming rhythm-based minigames.
